Research Progress of Advanced Oxidation Technology for Drinking Water Treatment

نویسندگان

چکیده

Advanced oxidation technology is attracting attention as an effective method of water treatment that can degrade various organic pollutants. The combination photocatalysis (UV) and ozone (O 3 ) titanium dioxide (TiO 2 a promising advanced technology. ozone, hydrogen peroxide, ultraviolet light other oxidants for catalytic also the current mainstream They effectively emerging pollutants alleviate pollution problems. Titanium dioxide, are all popular catalysts because their low cost, non-toxicity, strong oxidizing ability, easy contact with surfaces.

Advanced Oxidation Process for Haloacetic Acid Removal in Tehranpars Water Treatment Using CuO Nanocatalyst

Potentially harmful disinfection byproducts (DBPs), as a significant challenge in water treatment, are formed when oxidizing disinfectants react with natural organic matters (NOM). Unfortunately, an  unwanted  side  effect  is  the  formation  of  harmful by-products,  such  as  THMs  and  HAAs, following the chlorination stage. DBPs  cause a variety of diseases like cancer in humans.  In this ...
